Early this morning I thought I would try and update my Samsung 10.1 Note 2014 Edition with the latest firmware which is unfortunately only available via the Samsung's Kies3 application. However upon trying to install Samsung Kies3 I immediately ran into a problem, it wouldn't even unpack its contents before 'unexpectedly crashing'. After having tried installing Samsung Kies2 to no avail I thought I would turn to the best tool around on the web 'Google Search' and sure enough I eventually stumbled upon a rather simple solution.
Not getting a lot of information from the Kies3 installer I reverted to the trustworthy Windows Event Viewer, however this still didn't provide me with much to go on until I found what I initially thought was half a solution. It was plain and simple, create another user profile with Administrator rights and try installing again using that profile.
