Run an elevated command prompt using 'Run as Administrator'. You'll know you're running as the command prompt as an administrator when the heading of the command prompt says 'Administrator'.
Type and run 'net stop spooler', which will kill the printer spooler. Delete the print queue using 'del %systemroot%\System32\spool\printers\* /Q' and then restart the print spooler with 'net start spooler'. Once again as simple as 1, 2, 3...
